Hello Again Quince and Sweet 16 girls!
We are here to tell you about the awesome Quinceanera Expo that we went to this past August 15 Thuesday and 16Wednesday (Agust 15-16 2023)
The expo, held for the very first time at the Beautfil Sunset Dreams Events NYC ( Brooklyn) @dreamseventsnyc, was packed with lot of families and awesone Vendors . There were stations filled with everything that a girl needs to be considering when planning her Quinceañera or Sweet 16.
People from around New York – New Jersey gathered in the beautiful event space at the Sunset Dreams Events in Broolyn to attend a Quinceañera Expo
The expo, produced by @Djtekila and @Dreamseventsnyc, had over 30 vendors who showcased everything from food , bar services and dresses to photographers and music to help people plan for the big day.
“We feel like we’re providing a service,” said Mr. David Zapata , co-owner of Sunset Dreams Nyc with his wife, Miss. Nathalie Z.
“They’re one only quinceañera expos in the whole New York area and so we feel like we’re providing a service to those people that are having a quinceañera because sometimes they just don’t know what all is around and who to call and how to get connected.”
A quinceañera is typically hosted when a girl turns 15 and is a coming of age celebration that showcases a girl’s faith as well as transition to adulthood. The tradition comes from Latin America.
Maria Hernandez is from Brooklyn, and her fifteenth birthday is next year.
She and her family attended the expo to plan ahead for decisions such as venue, photo, video food, a dress and a venue.
“When I turn 15, it’s like coming into womanhood and I’m just really excited to just be part of the whole ceremony and dress in the beautiful dresses,” Maria said.
She’s also excited to dance with her father.
There were Bartenders, Decorations, Invitations, Food Services DJs, and floral arrangements. The cakes by Gaby Decorating were so pretty and super yummy.

@Chimoli Food was sooooo good! The Carnitas Tacos OMG delicious.. The Salsa Roja was amazing- light, flavorful, not oily at all.. Awesome Mexican Food
